“Hatfield is a recognized leader in the monitoring and management of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs), including dioxins. Since the 1980s, we have worked closely with regulatory and medical authorities to measure and monitor ultra-trace levels of contamination in fish and wildlife, human tissue, and sediments in Viet Nam, Lao PDR, Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Malaysia, Mongolia, and in Canada. In addition to studying the impacts of industrial discharges of POPs on the environment and human health, Hatfield has completed numerous assessments of Agent Orange, a dioxin-contaminated herbicide that was widely used by the US military during the US-Viet Nam war.”
